Ramadan Wall Art Ideas: Ayatul Kursi, Bismillah and Eid Gifts

Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around Monday 8 February, with Eid al-Fitr around Wednesday 10 March, depending on the moon sighting. Many families use the weeks before to get the home ready: a deep clean, new prayer mats, and often something new for the walls.

Ayatul Kursi

Ayatul Kursi, verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah, is the verse people most often choose for the home. A large rectangle suits the living room; a square works in a hallway or above a bed. See our Ayatul Kursi wall art.

Bismillah

A Bismillah canvas by the front door or in the dining room is a simple, popular choice. Ours come in blue watercolour, black and gold, and marble backgrounds. See our Bismillah wall art.

The 4 Quls

Surahs Al-Kafirun, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas are often hung as a set of four squares in a row or a 2 by 2 grid. Browse our Islamic calligraphy.

The two holy mosques

A canvas of the Kaaba at night or the green dome of Masjid an-Nabawi brings Makkah and Madinah into the room, and is a favourite with family members who have been on Umrah or Hajj. See our mosque wall art.

Where to hang Quranic verses

Many people prefer to hang verses at eye level or higher, and away from bathrooms and the floor. In a living room, centre the canvas about 150cm from the floor. Our guide on how to hang a canvas covers fixings.

Eid gifts

A canvas is a gift that stays on the wall long after Eid, and also suits a housewarming or a new baby. To have it up for the first night of Ramadan, order by late January. For Eid delivery, order by Wednesday 24 February. See all our Ramadan and Eid gifts.
