About Bedroom Wall Art

Bedroom wall art should feel calm. These canvases lean towards soft neutrals, sage green, dusty blue and blush, with gentle abstract shapes, minimal Japandi-style pieces and soft marble. They're easy to live with first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Every canvas is printed on 100% cotton and hand-stretched in our Birmingham workshop.

What size canvas goes above a bed?

Aim for about two-thirds of the bed's width. Above a double bed, a 36×24" or 48×32" canvas usually looks right; above a king-size bed, go for 48×32" or a long panoramic 48×20". Hang the bottom edge about 20–25 cm above the headboard. Our room-by-room canvas size guide has more help.

Abstract wall art for bedrooms

Abstract art sets a mood without a busy subject. Tonal colour fields and soft brushstrokes are restful, and a touch of gold adds warmth without glare. For a pair either side of the bed, choose two 18×12" or 24×16" canvases from the same colour family.

Which depth suits a bedroom?

Standard 18mm sits neatly against the wall; Gallery 38mm gives a deeper, more finished look above a headboard. Both arrive ready to hang.
